It’s a SEC-heavyweight battle for a four-star offensive lineman from the class of 2027. Terrance Smith, a junior from Lansdale, PA, announced his top seven schools on Sunday as he has narrowed down his recruitment. Those schools include LSU, Rutgers, Georgia, Florida, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Auburn.
Per Tyler Harden of 247Sports, Smith was at Florida for junior day in January. From there, he described Florida as being “in the mix of those top schools.” He also told On3 Rivals that day that “Florida moved up on it” after that junior day stop to Florida. “Walking in, I immediately felt the family feeling,” he said. He also noted his belief in their ability to dominate the SEC. So for the Gators, their 2026 junior day left an impression.

Smith also recently visited with LSU and their new head coach, Lane Kiffin, once again making Florida and LSU contenders against each other for a big piece of their team puzzles.
The interior offensive lineman is currently ranked by 247Sports Composite as the No. 238 player in the 2027 pool of players, the No. 12 IOL, and the No. 9 player in Pennsylvania.
ESPN has him ranked as the No. 155th player in their Jr. class top 300 as well.
As it stands now, Smith has offers on the table from Florida, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Rutgers, Tennessee, Alabama, Boston College, Duke, Florida State, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, NC State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Temple, and Liberty. So like many recruits, he has options, including several in the Southeastern Conference.
