CFB 27 is set to drop soon, and Florida fans will have plenty to work with if they want to take the Gators online and/or want to use Florida in dynasty mode. Jadan Baugh leads the way for Florida as the highest rated player at 91 overall, but wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr. isn’t too far behind at 90 overall.
Most of the headlines about Florida’s offense have revolved around the QB battle that has ensued, and both Aaron Philo and Trammel Jones are 75 overall, which would make either the lowest-rated starter on Florida’s offense. If either of the two emerges and can get a grasp of Buster Faulkner’s offense, that 75 rating will wind up being too low.
But there is another starter on offense rated at 76 overall who doesn’t have a pathway that is quite as clear to outperform, who might just be the most important hidden key cog of Florida’s offense in 2026.
Florida LT Emeka Ugorji rated 76 overall in CFB 27
Florida’s offensive line was a major talking point all spring long, and in CFB 27, the lowest-rated starter in the game for Florida is LT Emeka Ugorji, coming in at 76 overall.
We’ve profiled Ugorji a couple of times before after he transferred in from Stanford. He was a lower-rated three-star out of Dallas who was thrust into action as a true freshman last year. He started the year at RT and had a solid game against Hawaii. He then moved inside to RG for the bulk of the season, and it didn’t go that well.
He then came back out to RT against North Carolina, and, to put it gently, he was beaten like a drum. Ugorji gave up four sacks in that game and was constantly on roller skates, as it was clear he was overmatched and not ready for that role. When he transferred to Florida, he was viewed as a project piece with the hopes that Phil Trautwein could mold him. Listed currently at 6’4” and 311 pounds, he is already up 40 pounds compared to what he was listed as in high school.
But then spring came along, and Ugorji was the starting LT in the spring game. He rotated around during the game, but the belief is that he has the inside track to be Florida’s LT in 2026.
And this brings us back to his 76 overall rating, because based upon his 2025 season and his spring game, that is a bit generous. That’s not singling him out since Florida’s offensive line as a whole struggled in the spring, but if he is going to hold down the premier position on the offensive line, then he is going to need to show improvement from 76.
As with all of Florida’s offensive line, Trautwein is going to do everything in his power to get it fixed, and it should be noted that even with their struggles in the spring game, Florida was still able to move the ball well enough. And if Ugorji can play like someone who should be rated 80 overall, Florida’s offense will have everything it needs to light up the scoreboard in 2026.
