The 2025 season has been an interesting one for former Florida Gator great Wyatt Langford. Now in his second season with the Texas Rangers, Langford's batting average is down 20 points compared to his rookie campaign, but his home run numbers are way up, and his OPS is up 21 points compared to last year.
But on Wednesday, Langford went viral for his athleticism to help beat our a single. Playing the Rays in Tampa, Langford hit a ball to shortstop, and the throw was offline.
Langford hit a hurdle over the first baseman that would have made Florida track coach Mike Holloway proud to beat out the throw and was safe.

Williams is the daughter of former Gators basketball player and NBA great Jason Williams and will have two years of eligibility left for her new team.
