The 2025 campaign for the Florida Women's Basketball squad hasn't exactly gone according to plan. The Gators are 14-16 on the season and went 5-11 in SEC play to finish 11th in the conference.

The last chance for the Gators to salvage something from this season begins tonight in the SEC Tournament in Greenville, SC. Florida is slated to open up play against 14th-seeded Auburn at 8:30 PM on the SEC Network.

Auburn went 3-13 in SEC play, though one of their three wins was a 74-51 win over Florida back in January.

One bright spot for the Gators was Liv McGill being named to the SEC All-Freshmen Team.

Golf Leaves Vegas With Strong Round

The 10th-ranked men's golf team is leaving Las Vegas after a 5th-place finish in the Southern Highlands Collegiate.

After a disastrous team score of +19 in round one of the tournament, the Gators settled with a +7 in round two before shooting a tournament-low -7 in the third and final round.

Jack Turner and Matthew Kress both had top-ten finishes individually in Vegas. Turner closed with a -4 in the third round to move up 19 spots and finish 8th overall.

Track Gets Individual Honors

Over the weekend, the SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships took place and the conference formally named their All-SEC members yesterday.

The women had four members make the squad: Tia Wilson (first-team), Hilda Olemomoi (second-team), Jessica Edwards (third-team) and Gabrielle Matthews (third-team).

Wilson was the headliner for the Gators after she won the mile in a time of  4:30.10 while Olemomoi came in 2nd in the 3000-meter run with a time of 8:57.50.

Beyond those performances, it was a quiet meet for the Gators. The women came in 11th out of 16 teams, while the men, who are ranked 11th in the country, came in dead last out of 15 teams. Virtually none of Florida's nationally ranked runners took part in the meet on the men's side.
