Coming into this weekend, there were plenty of odds stacked against Florida Softball. The Gators were without their star pitcher, Keagan Rothrock, and had to travel to #4 Texas A&M.

Florida dropped a wild opening game that featured Kendra Falby robbing a grand slam before Florida lost in walk-off fashion 3-2.

Florida bounced back in game two of the series with a 12-4 drubbing in a six-inning rule win. Reagan Walsh hit two home runs while Mia Williams and Jocelyn Erickson also went deep. All nine starters for Florida reached base at least once.

With the wind blowing out, game three started with an Erickson home run in the 2nd and a Flaby RBI single in the 4th. The game was tied at 2-2 when Williams hit a 6th-inning home run. Walsh tacked on a sac fly in the 7th, and Florida's outfield came up with two diving grabs in the bottom of the 7th to seal the 4-2 win and the series.

The Gators are now 26-2 on the season.

Diver Conor Gesing qualifies for NCAA Championships

Sophomore Conor Gesing made quick work of NCAA Zone B Championships to secure his place at the NCAA Championships. Gesing scored 699.30 between prelims and finals to finish 3rd in the 1m springboard and earn an automatic bid to the nationals.

Peyton Donald and Jesus Gonzalez fell just short of qualifying in the event but will have further chances in other events throughout the week.

Women's Tennis falls to #3 Texas A&M

Women's Tennis wasn't quite able to match their softball counterparts when taking on Texas A&M. The Gators fell to the Aggies 4-0 and were losing the other two matches that went unfinished.

Florida is now 4-6 on the season and 1-4 in conference play. They will be on the road next and take on Mississippi State this Friday.
