Florida Softball knew coming into its series against Alabama that it needed a series win not just to keep pace in the SEC but also to keep pace for a top-eight overall seed in the NCAA Tournament in order to host a potential Super Regional.

After dropping game one to Alabama, Florida smashed the Crimson Tide in game two to set up a dramatic game three.

Keagan Rothrock had one of her better recent outings of the season and Florida went into the 7th inning with a 2-1 lead. Unfortunately a sac fly and a RBI single gave Alabama two runs to take a 3-2 lead.

No problem, as the Gators punched back in the bottom of the 7th. Rylee Holtorf took advantage of a dropped foul ball to eventually draw a walk. She would come around to score on a fielder's choice to make it 3-3.

That set the stage for Korbe Otis, who smashed a grounder past the 2nd baseman, and Taylor Shumaker came around from 2nd for the walk-off win.

Florida is now 39-10 on the season and 2nd in overall RPI.

Korbe Otis earns a Golden Ticket

As if the day couldn't get better for Otis, she was also surprised with a "Golden Ticket" from the Athletes Unlimited Softball League.

Essentially, this guarantees that Otis will be drafted by the league on May 3, with games set to kick off in June. The league is a four-team, 24-game circuit that will travel to 10 different cities this summer.

Jac Caglianone hits a grand slam

At some point, the Kansas City Royals are probably going to need to promote Jac Caglianone because he might start getting bored playing in AA.

Playing with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, Caglianone stepped up in the 12th inning and launched a grand slam over the right field fence.

It marks his 19th RBI in just 14 games this season.

Caglianone is considered the top 1st baseman prospect in MLB.
