The Florida Gators still have ten games left in the season, and it is now official that Florida will have zero noon kickoffs for the 2025 campaign, as potential start times were announced for next Saturday's game against Miami.
The game will either start at 7 PM on ESPN or 7:30 PM on ABC.
Depending on how this Saturday's game against LSU goes, Gator fans might wish the game could have been held at the same venue as the Miami vs. USF game, The CW.
Last year, Florida opened against Miami in a debacle that set the stage for many of the bad vibes that have continued to follow Billy Napier into 2025.
Volleyball to get tested against UNC
So to celebrate a team that is actually ranked, Volleyball is No. 11 in the country and is coming off a three-set sweep of Ohio State. The 4-1 Gators look to carry the momentum into Chapel Hill, where they will take on the No. 25 UNC Tar Heels as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge.
The Gators are under the leadership this year of Ryan Theis, who took over for long-time head coach Mary Wise.
After dropping their first match against Stanford, the Gators have won four in a row, including wins last week against USF and Ohio State.
First serve tonight is at 7 PM on the ACC Network.
Basketball moves game
Speaking of another team that has managed to have success in Gainesville, men's basketball announced that their game against Alabama is being moved from January 31, a Saturday, to February 1, a Sunday.
Start time has not been announced, but it would be safe to assume the Sunday game would be sometime in the afternoon.
Florida played Alabama twice last year, winning both times 99-94 and 104-82 en route to winning the 2025 national title.
