The Florida Gators just won a national title in Texas last week when men's basketball beat Houston, so why not make it two national titles in a row in Texas?

The No.3 ranked gymnastics squad is in Fort Worth for the NCAA Championships. The Gators will be part of a four-team rotation with No. 2 Oklahoma, No. 7 Missouri, and No. 11 Alabama to round out the all-SEC Semifinal 1.

Florida has earlier head-to-head wins over Missouri and Alabama but lost head-to-head against Oklahoma back in February.

The top two teams from this group will move on to take on the top two teams from LSU, Utah, UCLA, and Michigan State.

Florida has advanced to the Team Final every year since 2021.

Softball hosts Alabama

Coming off a series win on the road against Ole Miss, softball is looking for another big series win over Alabama this weekend.

The Crimson Tide have been struggling this season and enter this series ranked just 22nd nationally and have a record of 30-16 and just 7-8 in SEC play.

Alabama has won four of the past five meetings against the Gators.

Florida needs a series win to stay in the hunt for a top eight seed and act as a potential Super Regional host in the postseason. Mia Williams just picked up SEC Co-Player of the Week after launching three home runs against Ole Miss last weekend.

The first pitch is on Thursday at 6 PM.

Women's Tennis advances

Women's Tennis is at the SEC Tournament in Auburn, and they had to go down to the wire in their opening contest against Alabama.

The Gators prevailed 4-3 to advance to take on Vanderbilt today.

Florida took the doubles point but was down 2-1 before Talie Neilson-Gatenby and Rachel Gailis gave Florida a 3-2 lead.

Alabama tied it at 3-3, bringing the entire match down to Alicia Dudeney. She prevailed in three sets (6-4, 4-6, 6-3) to give Florida the win.
