Florida Gator fans have been partying well into the night, and some may still be partying at the time of this writing after Todd Golden and crew brought home the third national title in basketball to Gainesville following Florida's epic win over Houston.

To the victor goes the spoils, and the Gators have announced how fans who didn't make the trek to San Antonio can greet their national champions closer to home in Gainesville.

Florida Basketball: We Are The Champions

Per a press release from the university, Florida is planning a "Welcome Home" event on Tuesday at 1:30 PM.

The event will take place at Flavet Field, just off Stadium Rd. and across the street from The Swamp and The O'Dome. Per their press release, fans will need to enter from the north side.

The event is free and will feature all the stars from Florida's magical run to a national title.

Fans are encouraged to park at garage 114.

Florida staged one of the largest comebacks in national title game history last night when they stormed back from 12 points down in the second half to overcome Houston.

It was the fourth dramatic comeback Florida had to stage in the tournament, and big comebacks against UConn, Texas Tech, and Auburn.

Walter Clayton Jr. was named Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four after he became the first player since Larry Bird to score 30+ points in both the Elite Eight and the Final Four, and Todd Golden won his first-ever national title either as a player, assistant, or head coach.

Florida finished the season 36-4 and won the SEC Tournament prior to winning the NCAA Tournament.

The Gators will have to replace Clayton, Will Richard, and Alijah Martin next season, but on paper, could return their four big men, including Alex Condon and Thomas Haugh.
