As the Florida Gators get ready to defend their 2025 national title, Todd Golden and crew loaded up on a rugged non-conference schedule to go along with a loaded SEC slate.

And while Florida's SEC opponents were known for a couple of months, their actual schedule of SEC games has been officially finalized.

SEC releases official schedule for 2026

Notable about Florida's schedule, which had been previously announced, is that the two games against Tennessee have been reduced to one, but in their place has been a restoration of the home-and-home series with Kentucky.

Florida will also have a home-and-home against Georgia and South Carolina and will take on everyone else in the SEC once, swapping home sites from last season.

Looking at the specific dates and order of games Florida has, its SEC schedule is backloaded. The first six games against the Gators are Missouri, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, and LSU. While the SEC had seven schools make it to the Sweet 16, just one of Florida's first six SEC opponents made it past the opening weekend of March Madness.

In fact, as a whole, Florida's SEC slate feels spaced out, as the Gators don't have back-to-back games against the "elites" of the conference.
