Earlier in the week, Florida Football learned they would get a visit from 6'5" wide receiver Marquez Daniel. We noted at the time that Daniel is tied for the tallest wide receiver in the country among four or five star guys.

But he is not the only 6'5" guy in the country, and as it turns out, the Gators are in the running for one of the other super-tall receivers in the class of 2026.

Florida Football: Big And Tall

Cederian Morgan is a 6'5" wide receiver out of Alexander City, AL. He is a consensus top 70 player with 247 and Rivals having him in their top ten overall. Rivals has him listed as their top wide receiver in the class of 2026.

On film, like Daniel, his calling card isn't necessarily being a downfield burner. He has long galloping strides but he is not the type to just run straight ahead to beat you.

Where he will beat you is by being a complete matchup nightmare with his size. His catch radius is so expansive that he has the capability to make any QB look great. Just throw it somewhere in his general direction and he will find a way to catch it.

Morgan dropped his final six, and the Gators made the list. In addition he will also take an official visit to the Gators in June.

Also on Morgan's list were Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, Alabama, and Georgia.

Morgan has made unofficial visits to Florida in the past, but right now, the public battle appears to be between Auburn and Alabama, and they are looking to keep Morgan in state. The allure of getting to play with DJ Lagway could be a selling point for the Gators and/or the chance to play with class of 2026 commit Will Griffin.
