Early National Signing Day is upon us and Florida Football has been one the big movers in recruiting over the past month. After being stuck outside the top 50, the Gators have pulled off a flurry of flips to get on the cusp of the top ten.

With a handful of high-profile prospects still up in the air, Florida is hoping for a couple more surprises to solidify their class of 2025.

Florida Football: Flip Season

Florida enters the day ranked 11th on the 247 Team Rankings with one five-star, 13 four-star, and nine three-star verbal commits.

Even if Florida doesn't move up from 11th it would be the highest finish for the Gators since 2020. But the hope for Florida is that, with multiple five-star stars still on the board, the Gators can pull off one last surprise.

Offensive tackle Solomon Thomas is the one people have their eyes on the most. He's committed to FSU, but that doesn't look like it will stick. One crystal ball projection has him coming to Florida, while another has him flipping to On3.

DJ Pickett is a safety committed to LSU, but the Tigers have been having a number of guys jump ship. His dad has tweeted out some cryptic things that could be linked to Florida, but most think the odds of coming to Gainesville are low.

There is also a wide receiver also worth monitoring. Dallas Wilson is a five-star committed to Oregon, but Florida has been making a big push to try and land him.

Of flips most likely to happen, four-star defensive backs Lagonza Hayward and Onis Konanbanny have the most smoke behind them to make the jump to Gainesville.

Pull off Hayward, Konanbanny, and even just one of the before-mentioned five-star guys, and Florida has a pathway to finish 7th or 8th when the dust settles.
