The Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs has come and gone, and Florida has representation on Buffalo, Kansas City, Philadelphia, and Washington.
With those four being the last four still standing, the Gators by default will have an alum win the Super Bowl on February 9.
Buffalo
The Gators have three players on the roster for the Bills, though O'Cyrus Torrence is the only one who has been getting snaps during this playoff run for Buffalo.
Kaiir Elam and Richard Gouraige are also on the roster, but Elam has been fighting off injuries while Gouraige has been on the practice squad in 2024.
Kansas City
The official villain of America, Jawaan Taylor, has been the starting right tackle for the Chiefs all season. Against Houston he allowed one hurry and one pressure, but no sacks.
DJ Humphries is also on the roster but is mostly a practice squad guy.
Philadelphia
C.J. Gardner-Johnson had the third most interceptions in the NFL in 2024. He didn't have any against the Rams, but he did have six tackles and was on the field for all 71 snaps on defense on Sunday.
Fred Johnson had been the starting left tackle for the Eagles, but he was hurt and didn't return until week 18. He didn't look great in that game, and outside of a couple of victory formation snaps, he hasn't played during these playoffs.
Washington
Dante Fowler Jr. had 10.5 sacks in the regular season, which was the second most of his career. He didn't have any sacks against Detroit, but he did have a tone-setting tackle for loss to start the game as the Commanders pulled off the upset of the Lions.
