Last year, former Florida Football wide receiver Ricky Pearsall had a massive week at the Senior Bowl, and he was able to parlay it into getting drafted in the first round of the draft.

The Gators have three players in Mobile, AL this week with hopes of impressing NFL scouts and raising their draft stock ahead of the NFL Combine.

Cam'Ron Jackson

After transferring to Florida from Memphis ahead of the 2023 season, Cam'Ron Jackson was mostly quiet during his initial season in Gainesville. He came back for one more go around and had a great 2024 campaign.

Jackson had 13 hurries and two sacks to go along with 37 total tackles in 2024.

Most mock drafts have him pegged as a 7th-rounder, though CBS had him as a potential Day 2 pick in a mock draft they released in December.

Shemar James

After declaring early for the NFL Draft rather than coming back for one more season, Shemar James is out to prove that he made the right choice to forego his senior season.

James is viewed as a fringe Day 3 pick, so a big week at the Senior Bowl could do wonders for his draft stock.

Chimere Dike

Probably the biggest wildcard of the trio of Gators at the Senior Bowl, Chimere Dike is coming off a 783-yard campaign, a career high for the wide receiver.

He's not on the radar of any mock drafts, but given his ability as a punt returner, Dike could impress scouts enough to make the NFL via special teams.

Jeremy Crawshaw

Punters are people too and Jeremy Crawshaw is hoping to buck the odds and get drafted as a punter. Last year, just one punter got drafted, but in 2023, there were three punters who were drafted.

In 2024, Crawshaw averaged 45.7 yards per punt, and against LSU, he had four punts inside the 20 with zero touchbacks.
