Florida Football will be well represented this weekend in the NFL playoffs, with 23 former players still dancing with a chance to win the Super Bowl.
Here is the list of former Gators who still have their season alive:
Kaiir Elam - Buffalo
Injuries haven't helped Elam since coming to the NFL, but he did get some significant snaps down the stretch and should get 60+ snaps this weekend.
O'Cyrus Torrence - Buffalo
He's been the starting right guard all year for the Bills. He hasn't given up any sacks, but he has given up 37 pressures in 2024.
Richard Gouraige - Buffalo
Outside of three snaps against Kansas City, he has been relegated to the practice squad the bulk of the season.
Alex Anzalone - Detroit
The heart and soul of the Lion's defense, Anzalone broke his forearm back in November. He went viral this week for sharing a photo of what the stitches in his arm look like as he returned in week 18 to help clinch the number one seed with the caption, "Everyone wants to be a dog until they have to do dog ****"
Kingsley Eguakun - Detroit
He signed with the Lions as an undrafted free agent and has been on the practice squad all year.
Brenton Cox Jr. - Green Bay
There is a bit of irony in the fact that the Gators included him in their playoff graphic, considering Billy Napier kicked him off the team, but Cox has been able to carve out a home in Green Bay. He got 20+ snaps a game down the stretch as a rotational player.
T.J. Slaton - Green Bay
Mostly a big body for Green Bay to have in their line, Slaton does get consistent snaps even though PFF continues to rank him among the lowest-rated DTs in the NFL.
Dameon Pierce - Houston
Something, something, Dan Mullen. Pierce had to fight injuries in 2024 but was 19 carriers for 179 yards in week 18 to remind everyone what he was capable of.
Tommy Townsend - Houston
A solid enough year for Townsend who averaged 48 yards per punt in 2024.
Jawaan Taylor - Kansas City
The starting right tackle for the Chiefs, Taylor didn't exactly have a shutdown year in 2024 as he allowed seven sacks and 37 pressures.
DJ Humphries - Kansas City
Was rotated in a couple of times late in the season, including in week 18.
Marcus Maye - Los Angeles Chargers
Was placed on waivers by Miami but claimed by the Chargers. He had a couple decent games but then injured his ankle. He may or may not this weekend.
Demarcus Robinson - Los Angeles Chargers
A solid enough rotational wide receiver for LA, Robinson had 31 catches for 505 yards and seven touchdown in 2024.
Brandon Powell - Minnesota
Mostly used on special teams, Powell did have seven catches this year.
Jonathan Bullard - Minnesota
A mainstay along the defensive line for the Vikings, Bullard had 41 tackles and a sack as the Vikings were in the hunt for the number one seed until a loss in week 18.
Jonathan Greenard - Minnesota
Another mainstay along the defensive line for the Vikings, Greenard racked up 12 sacks in 2024, just a half sack off his career-best he had in 2023 with Houston.
Fred Johnson - Philadelphia
He was the starting left tackle, then took a hit to his knee against Jacksonville. He was back in as the starter during week 18, though he didn't have a great afternoon.
C.J. Gardner-Johnson - Philadelphia
Six interceptions on the season for Johnson were the third most in the NFL in 2024 and tied the career high he set back in 2022.
Van Jefferson - Pittsburgh
He keeps carving out snaps for himself in the NFL, and in 2024, he had 24 catches for 276 yards.
Jeremiah Moon - Pittsburgh
Given the way his Florida career went, there probably aren't many people who would have expected Moon to be on an NFL playoff roster, but he is used a ton on special teams for Pittsburgh.
C.J. Henderson - Pittsburgh
His NFL career hasn't gone according to plan, but he is on the practice squad for the Steelers heading into the playoffs.
Kyle Trask - Tampa Bay
Given the success of Baker Mayfield, it is hard to argue Trask should be playing. But there is a small part of Gator Nation that gets excited every time he does step on the field.
Dante Fowler Jr. - Washington
10.5 sacks in 2024 are the second most of his career in a single season as Washington has been one of the surprise teams of the season to make the playoffs.
