Spring ball has been in full swing for a little bit for the Florida Gators, and fans are loving everything that Job Sumrall has shared with them. The one thing that fans didn't want to hear, though, is that the offensive line struggled during its scrimmage on Saturday.
Calvary could be coming to Gainesville in a couple of years for the offensive line if five-star Maxwell Hiller decides to commit tot he Gators. Hiller made a visit to Florida from Thursday to Saturday, even witnessing the scrimmage the Gators had on Saturday. Before his visit, On3's confidence in Hiller choosing the Gators was at 54%, and now it is even higher.
Florida is set to host one of the top targets on its 2027 board from Thursday to Saturday in 5-star IOL Maxwell Hiller.

Ahead of his visit, here are three notes to keep in mind on his recruitment with Florida.

Florida on the precipice of landing 5-star IOL Maxwell Hiller
Hiller seemed to be very impressed during his trip to Gainesville. The five-star interior offensive lineman is ranked the No. 4 player in the class of 2027 and the No. 1 player at his position. It would be huge if Sumrall could land Hiller's recruitment, as it would really boost the trenches going forward.
Sumrall already has three recruits in his 2027 recruiting class, two four-stars and one three-star, so if he can land Hiller, it would be his first five-star commitment in Gainesville.
After his trip to Gainesville, On3 now has a 87% confidence that Hiller will choose the Gators, which will have Florida fans thrilled. Sumrall is still making his mark at Florida, but so far, fans seem to like his personality and drive to really make the Gators a premier football program again.
Hiller could be the prospect that Sumrall can build the 2027 recruiting class on, and while he may not make his commitment for a few more months, having a connection now is huge.
