There really is not a world where Tennessee fans should ever be cheering on Florida Football. But on Saturday, Volunteer fans were faced with the quandary of needing the Gators to win over Ole Miss in order to help Tenessee's playoff chances.

And as the score went final for Florida's upset win over Ole Miss, Neyland Stadium broke out into something we never thought we would see.

Florida Football: The enemy of my enemy is my friend

Coming into this week, Tennessee was ranked behind Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff rankings, and as it stood coming into Saturday, the Volunteers were on the outside looking in.

So whether or not they wanted to, Tennessee fans needed to root for Florida.

This led to fans in Neyland Stadium doing the Gator Chomp to celebrate the fact that Tennessee's playoff chances are once again alive and well.

Combined with Indiana losing big to Ohio State, the afternoon slate of games was some great results for Tennessee. Of course, Florida fans will bemuse the fact that the Gators had a chance to bury the Vols but lost in overtime, which is half the reason why Tennessee is still in the playoff picture.

Updated rankings for the College Football Playoff will come out on Tuesday.
