Will Griffin has been the solid foundation that has bound the class of 2026 together for the Florida Gators. At one point this year, he was the only commit the Gators had. But the QB from Tampa Jesuit has never wavered from his commitment since announcing he would be a Gator in June of 2024.
If Griffin gets his way, he's going to try to get one of his teammates from the class of 2027 to come to Gainesville, too.
Kaden Henderson to visit The Swamp
Four-star LB and top 50 overall prospect Kaden Henderson put out on social media that he would be in attendance for the Florida vs. USF game on Saturday. Henderson, listed at 6'2" and 200 pounds, plays with Griffin at Tampa Jesuit.

On film, there is no mistaking who Henderson is. During Jesuit's spring game against fellow Florida powerhouse Lakeland High, Henderson lived in the backfield of the Dreadnaughts. Lined up at OLB, he can beat you outside, he can beat you inside, he can stunt around and track your QB down.
Henderson is being heavily pursued by a notable list of teams. Clemson, FSU, Tennessee, and Texas are among the squads that have offered and gone after Henderson.
As it stands right now, the Gators have just one commit in their class of 2027, wide receiver Tramond Collins. And as is the case with any junior in high school, there will still be a long way to go in Henderson's recruitment no matter who he commits to.
But as Florida has recruited the linebacker position far better in the Billy Napier Era compared to some previous eras, Henderson would fit right in to add to the depth the Gators have built at the position.
And if being teammates with the key QB commit from the class of 2026 helps, then hopefully Florida can keep the momentum going.
