At this stage in Dante Fowler's career, the former Florida Gator is looking for an opportunity to win a Super Bowl, and he might've found his best chance going into the 2026 season.

Fowler signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks, giving the defending champions an additional boost in the pass rush and, for the former two-time All-SEC performer, a great chance to get back into the postseason.

Fowler will be entering his 12th season and playing for his sixth team. He spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys, his second tour with the franchise, and had 15 tackles and three sacks in 17 games (11 starts). Fowler was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the third overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

He has also played for the Los Angeles Rams, Atlanta Falcons and Washington Commanders and amassed 294 tackles with 74 tackles for loss and 58.5 sacks. Fowler did not play in his first year after tearing his ACL during rookie minicamp.

While the Seahawks will be a new team for Fowler, he will be reuniting with an old coach, Aden Durde, who was his defensive line coach during his first stint with the Cowboys in 2020. Fowler, who can play outside linebacker/edge rusher or put his hand in the ground in a traditional four-man front, will be part of an imposing defensive line in Seattle that includes former All-Pro Leonard Williams and line up opposite dynamic pass rusher Uchenna Owusu, who scored a touchdown in Super Bowl LIX.

Fowler was a five-star recruit and Under Armour All-American out of Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. He committed to Florida State during his senior year, but flipped to the Gators on national signing day. Fowler had his breakout season as a junior in 2014 when he recorded 60 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks. That effort led him to forgo his senior year and declare for the NFL Draft.
