One of the reasons the Florida-Georgia Game is unique within the college football is world is that it is one of the last remaining true neutral site games left. The split of blue and red down the stadium creates an atmosphere that can be fun, but at times can get out of hand.
And it a now-viral video from stands; police officers were seen going at it with fans when responding to an incident.
Florida Football: It Just Means More
It is unclear what led to the police getting involved, but a 15-second clip posted to X shows two police officers not just wrestling two fans to the ground, but also outright throwing UFC punches ground and pound style once they were down.
Even one fan was trying to cover up and was still the recipient of punches.
In a second video floating around, a fan is shown tazed and punched. According to an Instagram post, this was over a dispute over showing digital tickets to get back to their seat.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released a statement acknowledging the videos and said they were investigating the matter.
The Georgia Bulldogs went on to win the game 34-20 over the Florida Gators.
