It's time for Caleb Banks to shine at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine as he and the other defensive linemen in the class compete to prove and boost their value in the upcoming Draft.
On Wednesday, before he ever stepped foot on the field at the Combine, he spoke with members of the media, and the former Florida Gator didn't hold back on exactly how he believes he will perform this week and at the next level.
"I feel like I have the ability to play from a zero to nine, all around, as one of the best defensive linemen in this class," Banks said. "I’ll run through a motherf*****'s face."
Caleb Banks' NFL Draft stock continues to climb
At the Senior Bowl, his superior performances in practices and the game itself showed just that: Banks can basically run through a brick wall, much less the offensive linemen in front of him. He expects to see more of that at the Combine and the Gators' Pro Day in Gainesville.
"I just handle my business every single day," Banks said. "Showing up on time, going to meetings, and being myself, that's all I've got to do."

Over three seasons at Florida, Banks earned 46 total tackles (19 solo), 5.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass deflection (missing most of the 2025 season due to injury).
While his stats might not be that jaw-dropping, his energy and size have garnered a lot of attention as he has progressed through the NFL Draft process. The Senior Bowl, Scouting Combine, and Pro Day are all just additional opportunities for him to prove his worth.
Banks, along with the rest of the defensive linemen and linebackers, is set to take the field at the first full day of the Combine on Thursday, Feb. 26, where they will go through a series of drills and exercises to show off their capabilities to NFL execs, scouts, and coaches in attendance.
