Jordan Agbanoma is an absolute tank who defenses fear and he just announced that the University of Florida is in the running for his recruitment with an official visit scheduled for this summer.

A beast from Dawg territory has the Gators in his top five. 6’4”, 315lb interior offensive lineman Jordan Agbanoma told Hayes Fawcett of On3 on Thursday that he has narrowed his recruitment down to five schools: Texas A&M, Nebraska, his hometown of Georgia, Miami, and the University of Florida.

Agbanoma is a top-five-ranked IOL in the class of 2027 per Rivals industry. Phil Trautwin visited the junior at Grayson High School last month on Wednesday, just before announcing his top-five, Agbanoma booked an official visit to The Swamp for this summer.

He is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 77 player in the class of 2027, along with their No. 5 inside offensive lineman the No. 9 player in Georgia.

On3 Rivals, as noted above, also has the junior from Grayson High in Loganville, Georgia ranked as the No. 89 prospect coming out of the class of 2027, the No. 5 interior offensive lineman, and Georgia’s No. 12 prospect.

When looking at his film, the junior is powerful. There is an explosiveness to his first step that pops instantly, and he checks every box a coach would want in an offensive lineman. He plays tackle for his high school, but he projects as a guard once he reaches college.

With Sumrall promising a winning team in Gainesville, the lineman would fit in perfect. The Gators in recent years have lacked lineman who can protect the quarterback and the 6’4”, 315lb tank could be part of what the Gators need to make sure their quarterback is protected and to give him the opportunity to actually throw the football, something Gator fans didn’t get to see a lot of in 2025.

Along with the University of Florda, Agbanoma has offers on the table from 30 other schools. He will visit Texas A&M on May 28, Nebraska on June 5, Florida June 11, and Georgia on June 19.

If Agbanoma were to commit to the Gators, it would be the second class of 2027 recruit Jon Sumrall has landed.
