Recruiting for the Class of 2027 is beginning to heat up as spring practices and games are winding down, and Jon Sumrall better be ready for some battles. Official visits are being set for all the elite recruits, and Florida has certainly made some noise for a few of them.
The biggest thing Sumrall can do right now and making dure he continues to extend offers. One offer that could work out for Sumrall is four-star wide receiver Deshawn Hall. The Alabama native has been garnering more and more interest, and a workout video recently released proves why.

4-star wide receiver Deshawn Hall is making waves and Florida needs to push hard for his recruitment
Hall has received offers from many schools, like Alabama, Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee, and of course, Florida. The elite receiver just came off a visit to Ann Arbor to see what Michigan had to offer him and seemed to enjoy it.
A video from February, though, had Hall listing Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee as his top choices, making it a true SEC battle for his commitment. Things could have changed since then, but Florida seems to be a place Hall could see himself playing.
Hall mentioned Florida wide receivers coach Marcus Davis as one of the coaches he has been in contact with the most. Davis came over in the coaching change with Sumrall after spending three seasons at Auburn coaching pass catchers there as well. Davis once played at Auburn as well from 2013-2016, giving his recent experience to connect with recruits.
According to 247Sports, Hall is the No. 173 player in the Class of 2027, the No. 23 wide receiver in the class, and the No. 10 player in the state of Alabama. It will be a battle for Hall's commitment, but as long as Sumrall is ready to get in the ring and fight for him, he could be in Gainesville very soon.
