Florida Football Top Wide Receivers

Deion Burks

  • Purdue
  • 2023 – 629 yards receiving

A low-rated three-star prospect out of the class of 2021, Burks finally got to showcase himself this year with the Boilermakers.

He was credited with 629 yards off 47 catches this past season.

On the plus side, his 13.4 yards per catch were 24th best in the nation among receivers with at least 90 targets on the season.

On the downside, his 47 catches off 96 targets gave him a catch rate of 49%, dead last among the 63 receivers that had at least 90 targets.

Burks does play primarily out wide rather than in the slot, so he would fill a need for Florida football.

Reports indicate that big-name teams like Texas, Miami, Auburn, and Washington have been in contact already.
