Florida football: Weather, commentators, and other notes for Florida-FSU
By Will Thomas
Florida football has officially arrived at their last home game of the season, where they’ll host fifth-ranked Florida State in an effort to gain bowl eligibility and knock Florida State out of the playoff race.
As we get closer and closer to game time, here are some notes about the game.
Florida football: Commentators
The Gators have the primetime slot on ESPN, so they get the company’s A+ broadcasting crew. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be in the booth with Holly Rowe on the sideline.
The last time that crew was in The Swamp, Florida beat Tennessee in week three. Maybe they’ll bring that upset mojo back into Gainesville.
Florida football: Weather
It should be a pretty nice night in Gainesville for this matchup. The forecast right now calls for a 62-degree night with light wind.
There is no rain in the forecast, and it should be a great day for both tailgating and being in the stadium for all the fans who make the trip.
Florida football: Injuries
We have a full injury report for the Gators on our site, but the two biggest injuries as we head into this one are both quarterbacks.
Both Graham Mertz and Jordan Travis are out for the season, leaving Max Brown and Tate Rodemaker as the leaders of each respective offense.
The Gators have most of their playmakers ready to go for this one but are still missing a couple of defenders who have been out for a while, most notably Shemar James.
