Florida football enters its contest tonight against FSU as a 6.5-point underdog. Both squads will be without their starting QBs as both Graham Mertz and Jordan Travis went down with injuries last week, forcing Max Brown and Tate Rodemaker into action this week.

The panel of experts for ESPN GameDay made their picks this morning, and they are still not feeling the vibes in Gainesville.

Florida Football: No One Believes In Us

During the pickem segment, not one panel member picked the Gators. Kirk Herbstreit did not make a pick because he is announcing the game. The panel of Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, and Lee Corso were joined by celebrity guest picker Aidan Hutchinson.

Here is what each member had to say when picking FSU:

Howard:

"“This is my underdog pick. I would love for Florida State to lose. But I think Florida will lose this game.”"

McAfee:

"“I think this is the right game for Rodemaker to come in. The way Florida’s defense has been playing has not been fantastic. I think Florida State is able to continue what they have done all year, evenn though the loss of Jordan Travis is a big loss for the Seminoles.”"

Hutchinson:

"“Even with the loss (of Travis), (FSU) has too many offensive weapons and they are going to come out on top.”"

Corso:

"“Nice pick……… Florida State.”"

The concern over the defense for Florida football is warranted, and it is rational for someone from the outside to play it safe and pick FSU.

We here at Hail Florida Hail will point out that FSU is going from a running QB to a pocket passer, which should help the Gators out. Plus, under Billy Napier, Florida has a way of making games far more competitive than people think they are going to be.
