Florida Football Keep Grinding: Jalen Kimber

  • Main Motivation – Regain starting role

For most of the season, Jalen Kimber was a mainstay within the rotation for Florida football.

Then, against Arkansas, he saw his snap count drop to just 18 plays while Devin Moore took 65 snaps.

With the depth chart out for the LSU game, Kimber is not listed as the starter.

Much like Marshall, Kimber has had good moments, but his last three games have not been his best. Against South Carolina, he gave up three receptions for 92 yards. Against Georgia, that number ballooned to four catches against for 105 yards.

The last straw appears to be the 45-yard catch he surrendered against Arkansas before Moore rotated in for the bulk of the game.
