No. 7 best Florida basketball NBA career: Jason Williams
- Drafted: 1998 No. 7 overall
- NBA career games: 788
- NBA PPG: 10.5
- 2006 NBA Champion
- 1998-99 All-Rookie
Jason Williams is most well-known for his flashy passes, but he was also a part of a championship team, the 2006 Miami Heat. He wasn’t just a highlight reel player, he had an impact on winning that season.
Williams was effective right away in the NBA, averaging 12.8 points and 6.0 assists as a rookie. He earned a spot on the All-Rookie team.
White Chocolate’s biggest flaw was his shooting, for his career he shot 39.8% from the field. However, there may not have been a more exciting player with the ball in hands for stretches of his career in the NBA.
