Florida Football Things Have Gone Right: Trey Smack
We knew from last season that Trey Smack had a powerful leg that could boot it as far as anyone in college football, but overall accuracy was a question mark.
Smack was beat out for the starting kicking job by Adam Mihalek, and we figured that was that.
Until Mihalek missed a handful of kicks to start off the season, which was on cue with the rest of the issues special teams were having.
After a couple more botched kicks against Tennessee, Florida football made the switch and inserted Smack mid-game.
Since then, Smack has made all six field attempts, including a 54-yard effort against UNC Charlotte, and has made all three extra-point attempts.
