Florida Football Things Have Gone Right: Eugene Wilson

The hype train could not have been any bigger than it was for incoming freshman Eugene Wilson. His offseason workout videos were electric, his high school film was amazing, and we were ready to crown him the next Percy Harvin before he even took the field.

The little bit we have been able to see of Wilson has fulfilled all those hopes and expectations. His shiftiness and explosiveness showcase a player that is going to make guys on defense look silly for years to come.

The only downside is that we already have to label him with the injury-prone label.

He missed a few days during camp with hamstring tightness and was knocked out of the Tennessee game with a collarbone issue that also forced him to miss the UNC Charlotte game.
