Florida Football Confidence Meter Week 13: FSU

  • Last season: FSU won 45-38
  • HFH Confidence Meter Preseason: 55%
  • HFH Confidence Meter Last Week: 40%
  • HFH Confidence Meter Presently: 45%

There are a couple of ways to look at FSU’s near escape against Boston College.

The first is that it validates the sense that the Seminoles are still a very beatable team after Florida was 26 yards away last season from going to overtime with the Seminoles.

The less optimistic route is that there are rumors that FSU was battling the flu heading into that game, and no matter how strong you think you are, you can look mortal with the flu.

The truth is probably in the middle, and the uptick in confidence is a reflection of Florida more than any changed opinion on FSU.
