Florida Football Confidence Meter Week 9: Georgia

  • Last Season: Georgia won 42-20
  • HFH Confidence Meter Preseason: 5%
  • HFH Confidence Meter Last Week: 7%
  • HFH Confidence Meter Presently: 8%

Every week, we are just going to up the meter by 1%.

Now, it would be tempting to up this meter to 20% after Florida’s big win and after Georgia has looked vulnerable in its three games this season.

But then one is reminded that this is what Georgia does; they look terrible while racking up the wins. Then Florida makes the trek up to Jacksonville, and all that hope disappears.

And for all the issues surrounding the offense in Athens, the Bulldog defense has not shown the same cracks in the foundation yet.

But, assuming things continue the way they are going, Florida football will be the first ranked team Georgia plays all season.

So you’re saying there’s a chance?
