Florida Football Confidence Meter Week 5: Kentucky

  • Last Season: Kentucky won 26-16
  • HFH Confidence Meter Preseason: 40%
  • HFH Confidence Meter Last Week: 55%
  • HFH Confidence Meter Presently: 60%

Last season, after its epic win over Utah, Florida laid an absolute egg against Kentucky.

As we have pointed out on the confidence meter, weird things seem to happen every year in Lexington, but it must be pointed out that this Kentucky team isn’t good.

It was 14-3 against Akron with two minutes to go in the third quarter.

Akron was 2-10 last season.

Kentucky will play Vanderbilt and might enter this matchup as one of the country’s worst 4-0 teams.

Add in the fact that it’s now a noon kickoff, and Kentucky won’t have as boisterous of a crowd as a night game would provide.
