Florida Football Confidence Meter Week 10: Arkansas
- Last Season: Did not play
- HFH Confidence Meter Preseason: 50%
- HFH Confidence Meter Last Week: 50%
- HFH Confidence Meter Presently: 55%
We mentioned last week that Arkansas struggled to run the ball against Western Carolina, with a team average of just 2.9 yards per carry.
That number did not improve this week as the Razorbacks were still under four yards per carry despite playing Kent State.
As a result, Arkansas slogged their way to an unimpressive 28-6 in yet another SEC game that was tight right before halftime.
KJ Jefferson was 13/19 passing for 136 yards and ran for another 63 (if you don’t subtract the two sacks he took).
Given that Florida seems poised to shut down the run this season, the is increasingly looking like a plus matchup for the Gators.
