Florida Football Confidence Meter Week 13: FSU
- Last season: FSU won 45-38
- HFH Confidence Meter Preseason: 55%
- HFH Confidence Meter Last Week: 40%
- HFH Confidence Meter Presently: 40%
Southern Mississippi was a bowl team last season and FSU ran all over them on Saturday as the Seminoles cruised to a 66-13 victory.
Like we said last week, it is not unfair to consider the neighbors to the west for Florida football the favorites right now.
And given how the schedule for FSU is the rest of the way, there is little reason to doubt that they will be 11-0 when they come into Gainesville.
But if you are looking for a pathway for Florida right now, Jordan Travis was only 15/29 passing. FSU won because they overpowered the Southern Mississippi defensive line and ran the ball at will.
If Florida continues to showcase improvement in their own run defense, we will keep the Gators with a fighting chance.
