Florida Football Confidence Meter Week 9: Georgia

  • Last Season: Georgia won 42-20
  • HFH Confidence Meter Preseason: 5%
  • HFH Confidence Meter Presently: 6%

Given the struggles from Florida, there is still minimal reason to believe that the Gators are going to beat Georgia.

But we are bumping up the percentage by one just because of how pedestrian the Bulldogs looked on offense last Saturday.

And if Austin Armstrong continues to let this defense gel and grow, it doesn’t matter how anemic Florida’s offense is, the Gators can hang around longer than we expect.

At some point, Florida has to score points if it wants to win, and we don’t expect that to happen, but we are willing to let a hint of hope creep in.
