Florida Football Confidence Meter Week 7: South Carolina

  • Last Season: Florida won 38-6
  • HFH Confidence Meter Preseason: 60%
  • HFH Confidence Meter Presently 60%

We highlighted before the season that South Carolina is perhaps the one team excited that didn’t feel like they fit the profile.

As a reminder, Spencer Rattler had 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions last season

Mertz had 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

And after eating nine sacks against North Carolina, there is little reason to drop the confidence we have in the Gators ahead of this matchup.

Given Florida’s struggles, we can’t bump up this confidence, but Florida still has the better roster and is still the squad that embarrassed South Carolina last season.
