Well, at least the drinks will be cold.
In time, Georgia will be the bar that Billy Napier has to clear if he wants to keep his job in Gainesville. That time just isn’t right now.
Georgia is the two-time defending champs for a reason, and even though their schedule is super soft heading into the 2023 season, it doesn’t detract from the fact that they are still loaded with talent on both sides of the ball.
Consistent great recruiting will do that for a team.
Florida did make this game interesting for a brief moment of time last season, and if Austin Armstrong’s defense can make improvements as a whole this season, Florida can stick around longer than one might expect.
But if Florida has to rely upon a run-heavy scheme this season like we expect them to, it probably won’t bode well for trying to breakdown the Georgia defense.
