Florida Football Confidence Meter Week 6: Vanderbilt
- Last season: Vanderbilt won 31-24
- HFH Confidence Meter: 90%
Much like Kentucky, Vanderbilt is not a good team and yet has a way of being a thorn in the side of the Gators.
Last season that thorn became a full-blown bag of thumbtacks the Gators got body slammed into as all the positive momentum Florida had built after dominating South Carolina the week before.
The caveat we are going to give from last year is that it was on the road and not that the Vanderbilt crowd caused problems, but the overall miserable conditions didn’t help.
This year the game is at home and is located in a fairly decent spot within the schedule.
This is also one of the four games that Florida football absolutely has to win to prevent a total trainwreck of a season.
At the end of the day, Florida is going to enter The Swamp with the far superior roster and won’t have many acceptable excuses if they drop this one.
