Florida Football Career Rushing Leader No. 3: Neal Anderson

  • 1982 to 1985
  • 3,234 career rushing yards
  • 30 career rushing touchdowns

Unfortunately, our database doesn’t have a photo of Neal Anderson in a Gators uniform, but for four seasons, he saw plenty of action to garner the number three spot on the all-time list for Florida.

Neal put up three seasons of over 800 yards rushing, which culminated in his 1,034 yards rushing in 1985.

He was third in the SEC that season with 238 carries as well as being third in yards.

His 639 career rushing attempts are the 23rd most in SEC history.

Neal went on to be drafted in the first round of the 1986 NFL Draft by Chicago.

He went on to make four Pro Bowls over eight seasons.
