Scooby Williams

In a recurring theme for Florida football, Jeremiah “Scooby” Williams was the second-highest-rated prospect in the class of 2021 for the Gators and a top 50 overall prospect out of Birmingham, AL.

In two seasons so far in Gainesville, Williams has appeared in 13 games, making 17 total tackles as a linebacker and special teams player.

Williams most notably saw action against USF when Ventrell Miller was out and did not seize the moment.

The Gators flirted with having Williams along the outside during the Spring, but as of now he is listed as an inside linebacker.

With Shemar James, Derek Wingo, Teradja Mitchell, and Mannie Nunnery all also in the mix for significant playing time, and Myles Graham and Adarius Hayes coming next year, the inside linebacker room is going to become another crowded room.
