Florida football recruiting is working to build their big board for the 2025 class, and are starting to extend offers to the guys they want to focus on.

While there are a couple of elite in-state players that Billy Napier will pull out all the stops for, he’s looking at the rest of the South as well.

Corey Raymond, the Gators DB coach, went back to his hometown and offered Jaboree Antoine, one of the best corners in the ’25 class.

It won’t be easy, but the Gators are going to do everything they can to land Antoine.

Florida football recruiting: A star in the making

It only takes seeing a few snaps on his highlight tape to see that this guy has the potential to be an elite corner at the college level.

At 6’1”-170, Antoine sizes up very well to the receiver lined up across from him. He has the physicality to play defense at a high level, and you’ll feel it when he hits you.

In coverage, it’s almost like Antoine is glued to the wideout he’s matched up against. They have no room to breathe when he’s man-to-man on them, and even if they do gain separation Jaboree just closes the gap with a couple of steps.

In his sophomore season with Westgate, he totaled 32 tackles, 11 pass breakups, five interceptions, and one pick-six. Eventually, offenses will just stop throwing to his side of the field.

When talking with On3, Jaboree said “Florida is one of those offers I had been waiting on”.

On3’s Industry Ranking has Jaboree as the 25th-best player in the country, the third-best corner in the 2025 class, and the second-best player coming out of Lousiana.

Obviously, LSU is the team to beat here as they lead On3’s RPM with a 38.9% chance to land him. But with tons of time left in the cycle and Corey Raymond’s ties to his hometown, there’s no reason to believe the Gators can’t make it interesting.
