On Wednesday, Josh Pate spoke with Florida football Coach Billy Napier after his press conference at the SEC Media Day for the Florida Gators, Here you can find the full-length interview here, however, the clip below from my tweet is a quote that I found interesting the most.

"“Make Sure You Filter Through, Not Only Do You Have Your Fanbase, You Have Two Hated In State Rivals & Their Fanbases, So It Is What It Is, We’re Getting Better” – Billy Napier"

To me, this sounds like Coach Napier is throwing some shade at Florida State & Miami since both schools have been failing this off-season with the recruiting trail as several high school prospects have flipped from or have de-committed from either Florida State or the University of Miami and joined Florida football or another top tier program.

So far the Gators have the Number 11 class of 2023 & Number 2 Recruiting class of 2024 and a lot of great talent coming in 2025 as well, Things will be turning a page in Gainesville for the next few years and beyond as Billy Napier and his staff have 22 recruits and still looking to load the future of the football program for the next few years to come.  We will also be discussing this and more coming up on the next few episodes of Chomp Chatter Podcast & Join Our Discord Server!
