Florida Baseball commits that went pro: Kyle Tucker

As previously mentioned, the Florida baseball class of 2015 had some great players committed to it.

The one that most got away but also had zero chance of arriving in Gainesville was Kyle Tucker.

Drafted fifth overall by the Houston Astros in 2015, Tucker has been nothing short of a star in Major League Baseball.

He has a career batting average of .271, a career OPS of .837, and a career WAR of 14.7.

He was an All-Star in 2022 and 2023, won a Gold Glove in 2022, and was a key member of the Astros winning the 2022 World Series.

This time they didn’t cheat because of the honor that Tucker brought to the club.

We hope.
