Florida Football: Five teams the Gators have never played

Florida Football Teams Never Faced: Arizona State

Rounding out this list of teams that Florida has never faced in football (mind you, there are more), the Gators have never faced off with the Sun Devils.

As it stands now, Arizona State will host Florida in 2028, and that will be the first meeting between the two teams.

The Sun Devils have been a consistent enough program, with a bowl in nine of the last 12 seasons. but playing in the Pac 12, all of their bowl appearances have been out west.

So unless there is an off-chance meeting in something like the Las Vegas Bowl, which Arizona State did play in following the 2021 season, it does not seem likely that Florida and ASU will face off prior to 2028.
