Florida football recruiting made tons of headlines last night landing a string of four commitments in just a few hours.

They added Aaron Chiles, Amaris Williams, Amir Jackson, and Nasir Johnson to their already impressive 2024 recruiting class, which is now ranked third in the country according to On3.

But with Billy Napier and this staff, it seems like the work is never finished and the gas pedal is always pressed to the floor.

All four commitments yesterday have spent their weekend on campus making an official visit. There are a few more guys on campus who just might be next to pop.

Florida football recruiting: Lots of talent left on the board

Perhaps the best thing about all the great players that the Gators landed yesterday is that there’s still so much more that they’re in reach of.

One of those guys is Jamonta Waller, the 61st-best player in the country, a top-ten linebacker, and the second-best player coming out of Mississippi.

The in-state Ole Miss Rebels are the current On3 RPM leaders for Waller, but something about the past 48 hours between Lane Kiffin and the Gators tells me that Napier is on the hunt to steal Waller from the Rebs.

Not only would it feel great to snag a player from Kiffin, but landing a guy as talented as Jamonta is a win no matter the circumstance.

The next guy is FSU commit Tawaski Abrams. A while ago, Abrams told On3 that if he were to flip, it would be to the Gators. Ever since then, UF has been in the mix.

Abrams seemed impressed with what Napier and his staff were able to pull off last night, so he may not be that far from making the jump to the Gators himself.

Out of Fort Meyers, Florida, Tawaski would be a big in-state addition to the Gators’ 2024 class, as well as a player they can pluck from Mike Norvell and the Noles.

The Gators are definitely a team to watch as Abrams’ recruitment continues.

The final guy I think Florida football recruiting has a good chance of adding is Teddy Foster out of Sarasota.

Foster is a 3-star DB with excellent ball skills and great athleticism and could thrive under the mentorship of Corey Raymond and guys like Jason Marshall Jr.

The Gators are currently the heavy favorite to land Foster according to On3, and he may not want to waste much time before he decided to announce his commitment.

Spots are filling up quickly, and if you don’t jump on the train now, you just might miss it.
