Florida football’s 2023 recruiting class was a successful one for Billy Napier in his first year as the Gators’ head coach, and now he can officially close the book on it.

Over the weekend, the final members of that class officially arrived and enrolled at the University of Florida.

They were only waiting on four more players to arrive, but they’re some of the most important guys in the 2023 class.

Here are the four recruits that are now officially Florida Gators.

Florida football: Eugene Wilson III

Wilson is not only one of the faster guys in Florida’s class, but he’s one of the fastest in the whole country.

Out of Tampa, Wilson was ranked as a 5-star wideout on On3, but other services brought his industry rating down to the 106th-best player in the country, the 20th-best wideout in the class, and the 26th-best player coming out of Florida.

Eugene is one of the guys that we could see make an immediate impact with the Gators’ offense, given his speed and playmaking ability.

He’ll be exciting to watch in The Swamp.

Florida football: Dijon Johnson

Billy Napier was able to flip Dijon from Ohio State during the last cycle, a big win on the trail.

Dijon is a 4-star corner, and three of four services have him as a top-20 player at his position, as well as a consensus top-40 player coming out of Florida.

Dijon has great ball skills and has plenty of mentors in the Gators’ secondary, like Jason Marshall Jr. and his coach Corey Raymond.

Plus, the mustard puns will be relentless.

Florida football: Caden Jones

Jones, a big OT out of Louisiana, is the lowest-rated out of these four players but surely has the potential to be great.

Standing at 6’7”-300, he’s a mountain on the offensive line and has great athleticism for a guy his size. If he cleans up his technique he can be one of the best offensive linemen in the country.

He may come in with a chip on his shoulder as well from being ranked outside of the top-20 OL in the 2023 class.

Florida football: Gavin Hill

The final guy who made the move to Gainesville yesterday is Gavin Hill, a 4-star DL who is just outside the consensus top 300.

Hill has an explosive and athletic frame from his time as a basketball player and has the potential to add some good mass to his body now that he’s in college.

Gavin will have plenty of time to develop under the Gators’ talented pass rushers and will be ready when his name is called.
