Florida basketball: Gators’ recruiting targets by position

Florida basketball targets at guard
KJ Greene
KJ is a 4-star coming out of South Carolina and is rated as a top-15 PG in the 2024 class and a top-10 player coming out of his state.
He’s a very consistent shooter and a great passer, with the only critique of his being athleticism, which he’ll be able to work on in college.
Right now the team to beat for KJ is Georgetown, but Golden and the Gators aren’t out of it.
Dellquan Warren
Warren is another highly-rated point guard coming out of Geneva, Ohio, sitting as the 11th-best point guard in the class.
Coming from Big Ten country, it may be hard to get Warren to come down south. Rutgers currently leads for the guard, with Ohio State and Maryland not far behind.
As long as the Gators can lock down a visit, they aren’t finished.
Travis Perry
Perry, out of Eddyville, Kentucky, is another top-15 point guard in the class of 2024.
The top player in Kentucky, Perry is an elite scorer and is making a run at being the best all-time scorer in his state.
That kind of offense is something that the Gators can’t ignore, and they’ll be fighting other SEC teams for Travis’ services.
Jeremiah Wilkinson
Wilkinson, out of Atlanta, is currently committed to the Mississippi State Bulldogs, but the Gators aren’t leaving him alone.
Wilkinson is ranked as the 28th-best point guard in his class and the 18th-best player coming out of Georgia.
Golden will have to put in some good work if he wants to flip Jeremiah from the Bulldogs.
Kameren Wright
Wright, a 3-star guard out of The Rock School in Gainesville, is ranked as a top-20 player coming out of Florida despite being overlooked by some.
He has an unofficial visit lined up to see his hometown Gators.
If Golden wants him, he can probably make a successful push for Wright.
