No. 1: Florida football vs Georgia

Surprise. UGA is the toughest game for the Gators this season.

I’ll be honest, I think I’m ready for Georgia to quit winning championships and come back down to earth. I think it’s time.

The defenses that Kirby Smart has been rolling out are just stupid, and the endless supply of playmakers on offense makes it frustrating to try to stop.

The reason why I have this game as tougher than Utah is because of how badly both sides want to win this game every year.

And as we’ve seen these past few years, when Kirby gets his guys up for a game, they’re near impossible to beat.

It’s really tough to be a one-dimensional offense against a defense as strong as UGA’s, but it seems like that will be the case for Florida this year. Ground heavy, with a short, quick passing game.

Now I don’t need to remind any Gator fans, or UGA fans for that matter, that this game is never free. Both teams want it more than anything, and anything can happen.

So no, I won’t count the Gators out here, and when game week rolls around I’ll probably talk myself into thinking we’ll win.

But this is the toughest game on the schedule.

Keep up with Florida football at Hail Florida Hail.
