No. 3: Florida football vs LSU

With our three toughest games we start to get into the real scary part of this schedule. And a trip to Baton Rouge certainly qualifies as scary.

After a slow start under Brian Kelly last season, the Tigers put it together and even made a run at the playoff, which included a win over the Gators in Gainesville.

With Jayden Daniels back for another year, and getting defensive players healthy like Maason Smith, the Tigers will be right back up near the top of the SEC again.

For most other teams, it would be hard to say this game isn’t the toughest on its schedule, but the Gators aren’t that lucky.

Adding on to the challenge of this one, Florida football hasn’t won a game in Death Valley since 2016.

There’s no doubt that the Tiger fans will bring the fire to this one. All we can really hope for is that it’s a noon game so they don’t have full power in the stands.

If this one is at night, Graham Mertz is going to have to dig deep. That would be by far the most hostile environment he’s ever played in.

I’ve learned to never say never in Florida-LSU games because these always turn into classics. But this game on the road will be a tall task.
